Midnight FlightMidnight Flight
One of the founding members of Midnight Flight, JIMMIE ALLISON is an award-winning guitarist whose big-arm rhythm is the heartbeat of the band's drive. In addition, he strives to keep the tradition of melodic flatpicking alive and exciting. Jim does a good portion of the band's lead singing, and fans especially love his strong vocals on the band's ballad arrangements. Jimmie is an avid outdoorsman as well as a NASCAR fan. He and Lesa, his wife of 32 years, live on the family farm in southern Phelps County where they raised their four daughters Melissa, Kelly, Jamie, and Megan.  E-Mail Jimmie. Jimmie Allison
Bill Cross

Bill Cross is no stranger to Midwest bluegrass fans. His performing resume reads like a page from St. Louis area bluegrass history: Cedar Hill, The Hooter County Express, and Don Brown & the Ozark Mountain Trio among others. Bill is a talented and versatile multi-instrumentalist, equally at home behind a guitar, banjo, mandolin—and fortunately for Midnight Flight—the bass. In addition to his instrumental abilities, Bill is proficient singing just about any vocal part you can throw at him.  Bill and his wife Sue make their home in Troy, IL. E-Mail Bill.

Mark Vaccaro's love of music started on a family trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO when he was just 11 years old. By age 13 he had acquired his first fiddle and began to develope a passion for bluegrass and traditional county music. Some years later, fate would bring him back to Branson—this time in the role of Fiddlin' Jake at The Shepherd of the Hills outdoor pageant. Following his stint in Branson, Mark performed in country music shows and bluegrass bands throughout the Show-Me State, including a tour with Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys Band. 2007 brought Mark to Midnight Flight and we're glad he came on board. Mark makes his home in Bonne Terre, MO with his wife Mary Ann and their children. E-Mail Mark. Mark Vaccaro
Kevin Shults KEVIN SHULTS handles mandolin duty for the band, as well as contributing a fine vocal blend to The Flight's trios and quartets. Kevin especially enjoys visiting with the many Midnight Flight fans he meets as he travels with the band around the country. He loves songwriting and is originally from Salem, Missouri——home to bluegrass legends, the Dillards. When he is not performing with Midnight Flight, Kevin is an art director with an advertising agency in Columbia, MO. E-Mail Kevin.
ROGER "Rube" MATTHEWS has been entertaining audiences from coast to coast for over 30 years. His traditional-style
5-string banjo playing has been described as both exciting and comfortable, and his solid singing is an integral part of the band’s vocal harmony. He's taken trophies at prestigious banjo contests from Winfield, Kansas to Topanga Canyon, California. Roger is one of the founding members of Midnight Flight along with Jimmie Allison and the late Earnie Bishop. Prior to Midnight Flight, he was a member of the popular 1980’s band Radio Flyer. Among his other talents, Roger is an accomplished ventriloquist. E-Mail Roger.
